Very disappointed and upset 😡! I bought this case for my 10 year old thinking it would be perfect for protecting the new iPad 9.7. I got it for Christmas 2018. It's February 2019 and she dropped her iPad in this case and now it doesn't work anymore! The screen shattered after the iPad ended up in a pocket in a school backpack. We suspect the kids accidentally stepped on her backpack while trying to snag their own. However, if this case were what it claims, wouldn't it protect the iPad from bending and breaking the screen?! I mean don't get me wrong, I understand that there is no guarantee that the device will be protected in the description. from being trampled on by 50 children. However, the amount of damage done was as if there had been NO incident! I would not recommend this product. There was also no need to contact the seller before leaving negative feedback as I'm pretty sure they won't pay my $200 deductible to get my daughter's iPad covered under insurance substitute. I'm sure they would offer a refund if the case had any cost. But it's really not very much for me, is it?
