These instructions are intended to inform customers that there is a right side and a wrong side to place on the screen. Maybe that's why it comes with two lids. Let's start with the second cover. Also, air bubbles will remain no matter how carefully you follow the directions. The instructions say to press from the center to the "perimeter" (i.e. to the edges), but this leaves a lot of bubbles. So, by carefully lifting the lid at one end, I was able to gradually push from the remaining end to the raised end and release about half of the bubbles. It took a lot of time. This eliminates a lot of glare and soothes my eyes, but the remaining bubbles are distracting.
