Review on 🚘 MOOG 285 U-joint: High-performance U-joint for optimal vehicle stability by Dave Mosby

I usually fit genuine parts in my cars but I didn't have time to wait for the part until the Toyota OEM universal joint arrives so I bought this one. It is good and of good quality; I'm not sure what this other reviewer is complaining about. Moog is a good thing. The front driveshaft on my rear driveshaft (94 4runner) was in bad shape and it was a good replacement. However, I would caution anyone using one of these on a rear driveshaft/gimbal as the transom mount is sticking out the side of one of the bearing caps. As long as you're not driving your truck on trails where you can smash something, it doesn't really matter. But if you do, you should probably buy an OEM connection where the Zerk fitting is protected.
