Small size fits my Jack-chi perfectly, she weighs about 10 pounds. The fabric is soft and the jacket is not bulky, but it is lined with nylon fabric that protects the body from the wind. I love that it has two velcro straps around the neck and chest, it's so hard to get the coat over her head that she doesn't want to wear a coat. The Velcro strips are wide and strong, keeping the coat securely in place no matter how active she is.
