Better and cheaper than the home improvement store variety.
Have used the home improvement store quick-connects for a few years with varying degrees of luck. The female half usually wears out or will no longer accept the male half, and they are hard to connect and disconnect. These are a little lighter weight but connect and disconnect with little effort, don't leak and look like they will last for a least a few years. They're also about 1/3 the price.
- Saves time and energy compared to traditional hose connectors
- May require the use of pliers to tighten
