I buy these to rub homemade detergent (mixed with baking soda and borax and optional OxyClean). I like to use a scented bar with an unscented bar (which I buy separately in packs of six) so the laundry doesn't get overly scented. I'm really happy that I can get all the fragrances in one batch instead of buying six fragrances from one fragrance. FYI, mint bar is very strong. If you have a family member who, like me, doesn't like mint, maybe dilute it with an unscented bar or two when using as a laundry detergent. I do the same with a rose scented bar, but I don't find the scent too strong - I only live with a group of men. LAUGH OUT LOUD
