I bought this adorable Nurse Duck in 2014 for my high school clinical nursing class. Since then I have used it in NP school and now in my practice as a Nurse Practitioner (2018) in a pediatric facility. I fall in love with my patients and their siblings as soon as they see the nurse/doctor duck. As a gullible supplier, eyes are drawn to me. The patients are distracted, which makes it easier for me to see most of them. When my classmates saw it at school they wanted one for themselves and now when my peers saw its magic they wanted one too. It's durable, attractive, cute but bulky. But the bulkiness catches the attention of pediatric patients, which is really important. The fact that it is a nurse/doctor is important as it creates trust between the healthcare provider and the patient.
