These are soft and look like regular jeans with a bit of stretch. I wore them to an oyster roast when it was about 32F out and they were perfect--I never got cold but I was also never too hot. My hips/butt is a size 16 but my waist is more like a 12, so I wore them with a belt, but they didn't pull up awkwardly and cause a camel toe. They also didn't sag as the night wore on, which was also perfection, as the party lasted about four hours. I haven't washed them yet, but will update the review if my love for these jeans wanes even the slightest.
