A sling came with a corrugated surface and a convex fold, similar to a scar on a cowhide. The edges of the leather are untrimmed and the back of the leather is a total mess. The leather dye gets all over the canvas and onto your hands when trying to line up the sling. Running a razor over it I can feel all the bumps, pits and bumps. It's such a bad finish that I bet anyone could do better with a leather strip from Tandy. It's really that bad. Maybe the cow they made my sling out of got hit by a car. It's cheap and wide, but it's not a very good slingshot surface. Unfortunately I was trying to fix mine by finishing it off so I can't return it - otherwise it would be on its way - for a refund not a replacement.
