Like many others, here is another example of a lamp that was not attached to the case after I received it. It didn't bother me because I was going to put an OEM case on it anyway, which is what I recommend you do. This lamp looked identical in appearance to the short tongue lamp I had (Philips trademark) except that it was unbranded. However, none of them are like the higher spec Philips bulbs I've used before as these bulbs had a high flange which requires you to bend the mounting tabs a bit. As for the features: this is the worst lamp I've tested. a while. The calibration showed very poor blue light performance and after white balancing, the brightness was quite low from the start. I only used this bulb for about 70 hours and when I took it out the brightness had increased by about 13%. So I think this might be a budget option for some if your screen is relatively small. However, I bet the brightness will drop off significantly after 200-500 hours and as this started out pretty dim for my screen it didn't work for me at all.
