Nowhere in the product description did it state that this item required a special heater at the time of my order. The word "microwave" made me think I could use this by heating the glass. The description says "for professional waxers", but when I see the word "professional" on a cosmetic product, I take it with a grain of salt. My CHI straightener and Hot Tools hair dryer claim to be "professional" versions and are the brands my stylist uses, so I paid little attention to them. If the description said the wax needed a special heater, that would have put me off ordering as my heating tool is a microwave. So I can't use it or display it, but it looks like a good wax.
