What an incredible experience. Coming from previous experience with Android/Google Home. hard to say at least. The bulbs I had that worked for Google Home with Google Assistant integration kept disconnecting, needed a third party app to stay connected, it was just a frustrating experience for me. I recently switched back to an iPhone and the lightbulbs I had weren't compatible with Homekit so I looked elsewhere. I heard good things about Lifx so I decided to give it a try. Being able to pair with Homekit without using a third-party app seals that for me. That's enough to fill an entire house with Lifx lightbulbs. But they offer a little bit more. For example, they don't keep flashing when your router reboots. If someone accidentally turns off the physical switch, it only takes about 10 seconds for them to reconnect and show up on Homekit. There are much brighter, more colorful lightbulbs out there, but for my use case (we have a lot of lights around the house). ) You are perfect. I usually leave them all at 50% when I have most of the lights on so I have enough room to brighten them up if needed.
