At first I made fun of everyone who put their child on a leash! That was until I had a very active toddler who wanted and needed to walk when I did. We live in a very car free city and I walk almost everywhere. My little one usually rode in the stroller, but he still had plenty of energy left to let go when we got home from errands. I came home rested after a bit of exercise, but he got annoyed when we didn't have time to play in the park. This pendant meant so much because I can SAFELY let it walk with me on sidewalks next to roads without panicking when it lets go of my hand to look at a bug or a coin on the sidewalk. He likes to carry his "lion backpack" and thinks it's a cuddly toy that he can snuggle up to. It's good quality and we've washed it in the washer and dryer with no problems.
