If you get this protector wet, water will get between the protector and the dial. Then you need to remove the protective film to dry the dial so that there are no water bubbles between them. The protector is quite difficult to remove and not very comfortable. Also, regular Apple wristbands cannot be used with this product. The watch strap is integrated into the protective dial.
