Great for what I had to do.

I bought this pattern to knit Vikings. Different diameter pins allow me to make different sizes of Viking bracelets and necklaces. I'm not sure what they are actually used for and if they serve their intended purpose well. The sizing is accurate and I love the fact that it comes in a nice little organized case. Each dowel is about 7 inches long.
