This is the strap I've been looking for. It's comfortable and durable, and if you buy the black-on-black version, it won't offend your eyes. That's how a bracelet should be: simple, unobtrusive, just the right length, and easy to untie/tighten like a slipknot. More fashion forward (trendy if you like the flashy look, exclusive to the Truck Stop Country Western Merchandise department) Flat straps don't actually stay flat on the wrist and are very uncomfortably so tight in situations where the camera dangles and its straps won't stay that tight , as you like if not hanging out. I always feel like if I drop it, those leather straps that keep coming loose will just slip off my wrist and my camera will shatter on the floor below. This harness, on the other hand, fits comfortably like a seat belt, with about the same strength and (relatively) quietness. BTW, my cats really, really (I mean really) like to chew on it. . And I get it, they're tough and awful - just know that they attract cat teeth the same way wool attracts lint.
