This annoys me a lot. I wanted to save money and plastic and use my old Apple headphones instead of buying new ones. I ended up getting them separately in a huge airy package (at least I can use it again) and two connectors that are really useless. It is almost impossible to fully insert the headphone jack into the jack. I had to use brute force, lots of swearing, and a table, and risked damaging the headphone cable. The iPhone jack does not feel good. The volume is terrible, I can't change it in the headphones and sometimes the sound still comes out of the phone's speakers when I plug in the headphones! Could literally give them minus 10 if that was an option. You'll probably have to go to Apple and just buy them. At least it will work. Can someone explain how they get certified by Apple?
