It's a lot smaller than it looks. The cat still loves it.

My cat was a stray and almost day one she was given a cardboard thing to sit and scratch so it became like a comfort zone for her. At the moment it's almost broken and unusable so I tried to find something new to replace it. The original item I received was no longer made so I had to use something else. Judging by the photos, it really seemed a lot bigger. While it's possible to show a kitten, the first definitely shows an adult cat. I would say the original is about half the size (1/4 the volume) of what you believe in the picture. Instead of a large surface for my cat to sit on and play with toys, it covers the entire top when it sits and only sags a bit. This is a medium sized cat, not particularly large so the first picture is either the oldest looking kitten I have ever seen or it is photoshopped. If we look back and take a closer look, we can say that they were all clearly Photoshopped. I'm taking off one star for size and another for dishonesty (which may have been largely unintentional as I don't think they wanted to fool anyone as much as it was just marketing to show cats playing with it but it isn't a good choice - it's not *that hard* to photograph a cat playing with something!) That being said, it still seems a bit satisfying to her. She comes up to him and plays with toys and sharpens her claws on him, which I saw. (And it's not about catnip, because unfortunately she's one of those cats that catnip doesn't work on.) I really think she's getting used to it and sitting on it a little more, so I think it'll work. although it's a lot smaller than I thought. This may not be good enough for a larger cat and potential buyers should keep this in mind. But then again, since some cats like things that don't suit them, this can still make the big cat happy. (Especially if you turn it upside down, so it gets very uncomfortable. They're almost guaranteed to love it.) Although it really depends on the cat, and I wouldn't necessarily expect it to be for a large one Cat works, and maybe for some medium sized cats. I think kittens and small cats should be at home. (Especially very young kittens who may even fit underneath.)
