I've always heard about hackers taking over your laptops to spy on you so I bought this to cover the webcams on laptops. Especially due to the pandemic we are all on remote learning and working from home now and we are on either Zoom or Google Meet for video conferencing but there are times when you didn't want to put yourself on camera but accident happens. I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about. Well, this privacy cover makes sure you wanted to show off by manually moving and opening the webcam. It's actually a very thin metal, and the privacy cover is a powerful magnet that you can easily slide left and right. Very good design and finished. The sticky adhesion on the back is very strong. So make sure you align them properly before pressing the webcam as it will be difficult to adjust if you don't align them properly. I have installed on my MacBook Air, Laptop and Chromebook. and all work great. At first I was afraid it might be too small, but I didn't realize how small webcams are on a laptop 😁 Great buy!
