As some have said, the screws supplied are the wrong thread size. The bolts required for attachment to the engine block and drive shaft must be 5/16-24 fine thread and are supplied with coarse thread bolts. I live in a small town but I'm hoping our local hardware store has what I need. This seems like such an easy fix for the manufacturer, but it hasn't happened yet. I removed the old torque converter from the kart we are restoring, but the mounting bolts on this block are properly threaded but are too short. Another thing is that there are no instructions. I have mechanical skills and there are many videos on You Tube that will guide me through this process. The belt feels cheap and has a pretty bad smell. I already have another belt. You just have to move the bolts forward. Will be updated when the process is finished.
