Great replacement for a 1998 VW Beetle
Was wondering if this would fit my used 1998 Beetle (2.0L) shift knob. I used a small screwdriver to pry off the old one which had lost the gear diagram label and was just a clamp head with no picture of the gear diagram on top. Cleans the old surface from dirt. This piece is now in place where the old one was and looks amazing! If your shift pattern label has come loose from the top of your New Beetle, this will likely work for you. I noticed that all the shift knobs aren't that much bigger. But I still managed to do it.
