This is my first purchase of an epilator. I was nervous because almost every epilator I've looked at at Revain had pretty mixed reviews, but I'm so glad I bought this one! recommended in the enclosed instructions). To be honest the pain of getting wet was unbearable. I could only walk one leg halfway and had to stop. Since then I've never tried it in water and have MUCH more drying experience. Yes, it hurts, but it's bearable and gets better the more you do it. I've been using it for a few months now and I've definitely noticed that every time I use it my feet get more and more used to it to the point where it's almost pain free now. I love going through everyday life with smooth legs instead of having to shave almost every day like I used to. I haven't tried it on my armpits or bikini line, so I can't give feedback on how it works there. To be honest, it sounds like it's going to be insanely painful. But more power for you if you want to go there.
