We needed cheap shelves for our closet and they fit our space perfectly. As you can see, the shelves are pretty full and they're still holding up. You can actually fill them completely with clothes and they will hold up great. The top shelf flexes a little under weight, but this doesn't affect strength. I was really very impressed. I'd say you can pack 3-4 large sweatshirts or hoodies in each bin, but many more if you're making a t-shirt or something less dense. It's obviously made out of fabric, so if you're looking for something super high quality, this isn't it. But out of fabric containers like this that I've had in a long time, this is one of the best.
