I've just bought a pair of GXT 1000's and needed a way to carry them and all the accessories on camping trips, camping trips etc. No, I would spend as much on a case as I would on the radios themselves. I finally have these and a few other "affordable" options and decided to give it a try and I'm happy to say I'm impressed. It has space for radios, charger, 12V adapter, headsets, lavalier microphones and some documents. The included velcro has proved very useful although I use it more as a pad between the radios rather than tying them with straps as they are already quite strong and I didn't want them bumping into each other during transport as this is definitely the case would increase wear. It's not entirely impact resistant but I don't plan on hitting it or anything, it's just to protect my radios if they're thrown along with all my gear. The zip alignment is perfect, which is not always the case with this type of suitcase, and the construction is solid. I didn't like the zippers as they were small and cheap so I replaced them with paracord zippers but other than that I'm perfectly happy. Highly recommended for Midland GXT or similar sized radios.
