Bought to replace the "Starter" toner that came with my HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw printer. Since HP was running low on toner, I took the opportunity to print out a test page to compare HP and Amstech. It's almost impossible to tell the difference in quality from the photo. However, looking at the originals, Amstech seems a little boring compared to the richness of HP's toner. Does it cost more than twice as much as HP? I don't think so, but it's your decision. As I'm in the process of replacing the toner, I can't comment on Amstech's durability yet. I note that Amstech is well packaged as is HP toner. HP identifies this as "Non-HP product detected on printer". I'm not sure if this will mean anything in the future. Finally, when the printer is running, the Amstech toner seems to be a little louder (clicks sound louder). Maybe it's because it hasn't broken yet. Again, time will tell. In general, I think it's worth saving money by choosing non-genuine toners.
