Although this razor looks like a budget razor, the attention to detail in the building process could have been a little more. The razor feels very light and relatively cheap. As soon as I opened the package I felt dizzy like a child at Christmas, so I immediately thought of putting it back in the box and sending it straight back to Amazon. Instead of sending her back I decided to at least give her a chance. I've tried the butterfly mechanism and it seems ok but not fantastic. At full tension it exits the blade at a VERY aggressive angle. I would advise anyone who might be a beginner like me to spend their precious time figuring out what angle of attack you decide to load with. I wasted my valuable time and was very surprised at how comfortable the shave was overall. The only issue I had with shaving was the butterfly mechanism. It came off a couple of times when I was about to wash the blade for the next shot. While this is a minor issue, it took a while to focus and re-tighten, and after 1-2 flushes it resolved itself again. Butterflies don't sit flush either. One side is perfectly flat and the other is not. You can see it in the last two photos. The center post also has a very small thumbtack to hold everything in place. I'm not sure why the manufacturer put a dot on each side of the butterfly instead of using a longer weld to secure the entire post. This is a very small area to weld if they decide to get it all. Finally graduation. Processing looks cheap. Although it looks polished, it's very rough in most places, and the combs aren't combs, just a comb-like design. The overall comb design is uneven and doesn't even cover the same areas on either side of the razor head, but then again this is a very inexpensive razor so I guess that's to be expected. Overall impression, I will use it until it breaks, which is inevitable when building. For the price I don't expect anything better. I can't give it 4 or 5 stars based on construction and build facts, but for now it does what I expected.
