We loved this placemat and we have many other KidKraft items but this is a total disappointment. It takes a while to put together, around 40 minutes, and there are tons of parts and the tools provided are enough, but the special ones will definitely speed up the process. I don't usually mind and KidKraft products are usually great but not this one. Our son lightly tapped the crayons on the table while coloring and the entire surface was dented and damaged within the first 10 minutes of use. If I had known that, I would not have spent so much money on this product and would have gone for a cheaper one. Advantages: Robust construction! The table and chairs do not fall apart. Great design and functionality. for assembly (not a minus for me, but rather for others) The quality of the wood is poor
