Review on Coby CVR22: Portable Cassette Player & Tape Recorder with Mic, Handle, One-Touch Record & Auto-Stop - Black by Eric Temple

I tried twice to record a lesson I was giving with this. Both times I stood next to the recorder (it was about waist high on a table) and spoke louder than usual. During the recording, 6 other people were with me in a rather small room. During playback, my voice can hardly be heard due to the loud tape noise in the dictaphone, and you cannot hear the students' voices at all. I think it's because the mic is right next to the tape. The sole purpose of the purchase was to record classes so it was a waste of money for me.
