What the heck. I did not order a rusty, dirty filter with a destroyed factory packaging. There's no chance of that happening to my Corvette if I send this junk back to Revane. Dirt in the threaded filter cap and o-ring doesn't give me confidence in the install. A filter in this higher price range should be intact. I've requested a replacement and am willing to give RP another chance. We will update the review accordingly. Update: Unfortunately, a replacement was also supplied by Revain. They may have been great filters once, but the condition they are delivered in is just utterly unacceptable. This is an example of either really bad quality control or bad storage/handling, I suspect both. 2 on 2, the original packaging is worn out, and the threaded end of the can is just completely soiled with sand, dirt, damaged cardboard, and most importantly, bits of metal. Back to the M1 filters.
