Review on Smart bracelet HONOR Band 6, sand gray by Agata Asztemborska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

Prior to that, I used the entire line, starting with the first, Mi Bandami. If you want a watch to watch the time and read notifications, then Huawei is perfect for this. If you want a tool specifically for training and tracking your performance, then this model is just some kind of torture compared to Mi. What Honor cannot do, but Mi can do since the fifth version: It is impossible to adjust the order of icons in the menu, as the menu itself does not rotate cyclically, i. E. if you want his last punch, you can't swipe up, you really have to swipe down seven times. You can’t configure anything on the side screens except for 4 functions to choose from, of which I personally don’t need any. Can't control the camera. You can not set the interval when you switch to do not disturb mode, automatically during sleep. Unnecessary menu items cannot be hidden. Only one customizable dial, with a 2022 font zero, there is also no possibility for third-party ones to install without dancing with a tambourine. You can not adjust the vibration in any way other than strong and weak. You can’t just remember the bracelet strap in the morning just in the mood, this is also a whole thing. The mechanical button is inconvenient, the need to constantly use the second hand is terrible. The only thing it can do that the MI doesn't do is control the music during a workout, which is cool for workouts like running. The app is a pain in itself. To make, for example, the calendar of cycles on a phone NOT from Huawei, you need to install TWO more programs from Huawei, which, of course, are not in Google Play. The measurements are more or less the same with another bracelet, there are no distortions in either direction, the sleep schedules are only different, but it’s not clear who to believe. The charge keeps a week quietly. My conclusions: For training, this bracelet is an extremely inconvenient story, the same timer to mark the time between sets, turn it on and try it. How stupidly the clock is normal: it shows the time, notifications are large (although sometimes they just don’t come, and that’s it), all the health stuff is hidden deeper so as not to interfere (haha).

Pros
  • they sit comfortably on the hand, the sensors practically do not stick out
Cons
  • - devilishly inconvenient to change straps - hard to get to important menu items - nothing can be configured at all
