How good are the results of this camera? Before you can answer this question, you need to ask yourself what you want from a pocket camera. Is it as handy as a cell phone camera? No, but then the phone's camera doesn't give better results and isn't as versatile as this one. Is it as good as a DSLR or even a superzoom? Definitely not - and nobody expected it to be this size and feature-rich. It's certainly not a "professional" amateur camera - it's a simple "point and shoot" camera. This means images are sometimes blurry because the camera isn't focusing accurately or keeping up with the movement in front of the lens, and images are sometimes grainy due to the main lens. It's great for vacation shots in broad daylight, but doesn't work well in low light or when shooting indoors. The screen needs an anti-reflective coating, or ideally a viewfinder - remember those holes you looked through before screens existed. All in all, given the price, I would spend a little more and go for the Superzoom. But given its size, and if I need something to slip in my pocket, then this is a good camera for basic point-and-shoot photography. I give her 3.5 stars.
