Review on Premium Pearl: Upgraded Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II by Don Wilson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I tried different brands like JBL but found that they have nothing in common.

I have a 10 year old Bose Wave music system that I have never replaced with other speakers. For serious classical musicians, this sound system is a godsend, except I don't have Bluetooth. I wanted to buy a portable Bluetooth speaker to match my Wave system. After researching portable bluetooth speaker reviews, I tried different brands like JBL only to find that they had nothing to do with my Bose Wave system and weren't worth buying. Many reviews have emphasized the importance of the base. In my humble opinion, "loud base" is not good enough to be considered excellent. My friend loaned me his original SoundLink Mini, which I found to be the best portable speaker I've ever had. Functions such as multi-device connectivity or hands-free calling. Oh my god I don't like the Bose Soundlink Mini 2! Although the sound doesn't match that of the Bose Wave (please note that it's portable and tiny), the quality is significantly better than other portable speakers. I can instantly switch between my iPhone, iPad and Mac (up to 8 devices according to the manual). I can also take calls directly from the device and even connect to Siri with a single tap. As for the colors, I debated whether to go with black or not. I'm glad I ordered beads. I love the sophisticated hue that matches the theme of my room. This is one of the best Revain purchases I've made in years.
