Comfortable, airy and light.
I am normal size 8 but have skinny legs. I like that these shoes are light and fit well, but they have a bit of room for comfort and I can adjust them. I originally bought them for boating and walking from the parking lot to the dock. But now I use them when I go to the park with my kids where there is a creek and I don't want to have wet socks and sneakers (the path is too rough for sandals). I also use them for everyday activities like grocery shopping at Costco or watering plants at home. I have a second pair in blue.
