Pretty easy to use!
Despite my lack of experience making buttercream frosting at home, the cake turned out pretty decent thanks to this little template. You have to wipe it after each piece to keep it from seeping through. I simply placed it on top of the cake and used a frosting spatula (made of curved metal) to cover the template with frosting.
