I love these lights. They can get very bright. I mean very bright. Colors are clear; However, true purple does not exist. Although it shows purple on the remote, it isn't. I have other LED strips that produce true violet and I am disappointed that these are lacking as I will be using them to create a light sign for my sanctuary. And the modes leave a lot to be desired. They are similar to each other and require many keystrokes to get to a specific one. I was hoping for a chase mode, but like Lila, it just isn't there. I read about their battery life in another review but haven't found any information about it yet. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a set of LEDs that will do what I want.
