I liked the idea of a single product that could fit a variety of raw material sizes. After much searching on Amazon I found that I had to go through many reviews and installation guides to find compatible draft versions in the ranges for each product and even then sometimes this information was not available. People seemed relieved, grateful and excited about this product. And for me, the convenience of replacing my 30-year-old ugly wooden first-aid kit with a supposedly decent quality solution cost $160. is compatible with this product according to the manufacturer. Imagine my dismay when I couldn't get the product to completely cover my roughness; No matter what I did, the .25" stuck out horribly. I would say this product fits a maximum height of 20.0". I'll need to purchase and tweak some moldings to fill that gap. 2) The unit came with two large and unsightly cracks in the paint on the frame where right angles meet.For a $160 wooden box, this is totally unacceptable.3) The wooden knobs that are supposed to cover the screw holes are not flush with the case I actually had to cut out the innards with a large drill bit so the screw heads didn't get in the way of the fit.One of the benefits is that it was very easy to install with the raw hole that was present.If the sizes were as advertised and the quality too only marginally decent I wouldn't feel so offended paying for what I did I'm glad my ugly first aid kit is gone but it was almost a fling , no upgrade. a high quality product that will likely cost as much money or a little more. It's a shame really because I love the concept of this company to make flexible, innovative, easy to install and easy to upgrade products. But they either need to charge half of what they currently have (although I think 1/3 would be fairest) or overhaul their quality control. As it stands I cannot return the product as I have already changed the knobs and I don't want to look at the ugly beast until I find a suitable replacement.
