Needed to replace the door damper spring on our LG fridge. My model was listed here in the description and the spring part number matched what I found on another site. Cheaper here and overnight delivery made it a breeze! The problem is that this spring has an irregular shape at both ends. My broken spring had some pretty sharp 90 degree bends on the ends. They are rounder at 90 degrees. This small difference prevented the shutter from closing properly after assembly. Luckily, with the help of some pliers and brute force (and some luck) I was able to give the ends a sharper curve. Enough to get everything working on the shock. If I had to do it again I would buy it elsewhere even if it means paying more.
