Read some reviews that said the air needs to be perfectly still, make sure there is no wind, third cone, nothing. We finally pulled out a cheap little one we bought at Walmart and it worked great. So we checked to identify the problem and we see that the hole in the top of the burner isn't actually a hole. It looks like the hole is covered in ceramic, like a manufacturing defect. I tried to poke it with a toothpick, no, the hole just closed. Very disappointing, we will be sending it back.
