There are a couple of USB ports on the back of my monitor. I put this flashlight in a slot and bend its arm to hide behind my monitor. So it spurted light out from under my monitor, illuminating my desk and keyboard in the dark but staying out of my line of sight so it wasn't glaring or distracting in any way. It turns on and off with a simple touch at the end, which is even hidden behind the monitor, making it easy to find and effortless to use with your fingers. I wanted a backlit keyboard, but this solution works so well that I don't even feel like I need a backlit keyboard right now. And this solution was much cheaper. I'm happy with that.
