These are great little cable rails. They are very very easy to use and the included adhesive strips keep them in place very securely. I really like that they are made up of several shorter pieces rather than one big long piece that needs to be cut. I also like their two-piece style (rail and lid are separate pieces) as they are much easier to use than the D-line one-piece lids I've used in the past. I used mine to cover the 16awg speaker wire. Surround speakers hanging on the wall in my living room and they worked great but the cable was quite tight. If I switch to a thicker wire, they will probably be too small for him. I'm not too concerned about that though because although the adhesive is quite strong I removed it without much trouble by getting a razor blade between the adhesive strip and the wall and gently prying it loose. to the wall before sticking it to ensure the best possible adhesion. My walls are old hand applied stucco that has been covered in thick coats of paint over the years so it doesn't have the right texture but still adheres very well to it. I recommend these covers as a quick and easy way to keep your cables looking their best. Clean and protect your cables and electronics from being pulled by children and pets, tripping, etc.
