Pretty but not very effective

These glow-in-the-dark skeleton hand scrapers are definitely cute new items, but when it comes to an itch you can't reach on your own, they're not the best. The fingers are too wide apart and jagged to be really effective. Depending on how you hold the scraper, only a few fingertips come into contact with your skin. The thumb is totally useless as it is too short to reach anything. In fact, only the middle finger and either the index or ring finger will scratch anything. The tips at the ends of the bony fingers are quite sharp and hurt if too much pressure is applied. Some of the fingers had little plastic ridges where the excess material didn't get cut off the mold and these little bits had to be cut off as they were quite sharp. This scratching post is well made and remains telescopic. outdoors during use. The material on the handle isn't particularly grippy or soft, but it's better than plain metal. The hand is made of hard plastic, which is not recommended at all. It's securely attached to the end of the stick, which is good as small children can't easily detach it. The hand glows in the dark quite well, although it doesn't last that long, maybe a few hours after being "charged" for a full day. a prize or as a unique costume wand but not like a scratching post that most people would buy to have in their house. It's cute, it's a bit funny for adults (although younger kids will probably find it funny), and it doesn't do its job any better or very comfortably.

Pros
  • This compact item can be kept in a pocket, purse or drawer at home, in the office or on the go.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
