I've been making podcasts, voiceovers and YouTube videos for about 5 years. In that time I've bought tons of audio gear, various microphones that I probably don't need, and tons of junk that just didn't impress me. The Stellar X2 is probably the best of the best when it comes to purchase satisfaction. It comes with a shock mount, windproof foam, carrying case, instructions, carrying case and a note from the seller letting you know they tested my mic for 16 hours before shipping it to make sure it works. . After turning it on and listening to the first test recording, I didn't even have to listen to it again to find that I liked the sound. Sometimes when you buy new gear it doesn't quite live up to the hype and you almost have to convince yourself to love the new purchase as the difference from what you had is negligible. It sounds great, it could easily cost $300-$400. Get it now, it will go up in price fast.
