I bought one of these amps for my PC a few years ago and it has worked almost flawlessly in everyday use ever since. I say "almost error free" because the power LED stopped working about a year ago, but that's the only thing that went wrong. I recently bought a new flat screen and like most flat screens the internal speakers are terrible. I already had an extra pair of small bookshelf speakers so I moved the old PCA2 to the TV and ordered a new one for my PC. loudspeakers when they are switched on, regardless of whether something is connected to the input terminals or not, and regardless of what AC circuit it is connected to. I don't have the knowledge to look for the problem so I contacted Revain and they sent me another amp free of charge (as mentioned here this amp is non-returnable). Unfortunately, the second one also hums. Both amps will play whatever is sent to them, but the hum is always there. It's a shame considering the performance I had with what I bought many years ago. I went to Pyle's website but they do not accept returns on items not purchased directly from them and under 'Warranty' they advise contacting the manufacturer (let them act). I've searched but can't find anything about warranty coverage on their website. In short, Pyle seems unrelated to Pyle's defective product. This is the last time I buy anything called Pyle.
