I bought this watch for my 18 year old niece after her father passed away unexpectedly on 02/12/2020. It turned out to be smaller than I expected, but inside everything is completely open; It houses some remains for memorial decoration. It also came with a chain and it looked nice - I was also happy to see the cork was threaded and after screwing it in it proved very secure while the seal dried. The picture on the website looks like it's just a rubber stopper and I was concerned that if the sealant didn't work the ash would be lost forever. 😞 The fact that it is screwed on afterwards made me feel much more secure. The part came with a metal funnel and a "trowel" to fill the part, but I found that the funnel seemed to be tapered to allow residue to pass through easily, so this part turned out to be more difficult than I expected. I ordered a few other items - some from the same seller - and ended up using one of the other funnels and "poker" to make the process easier. This has never been a fun activity for a family member so I wasn't thrilled with the fact that due to the small funnel hole it took longer than it should have. Delivery was phenomenal! I arranged for him to be sent to my home before I left town for the memorial service and began to worry if he would arrive in time before I had to leave. My fears were unfounded; The item was delivered about 2-3 days after I ordered it and it was with Christmas mail! He came with a very touching "message of sadness" that meant a lot to me at this very emotional time. Pleased with the look and functionality of the jewelry and I would recommend this item to anyone considering memorial jewelry for loved ones. I can also tell you that the price was reasonable - and the same product was being sold by a funeral home (not a chain - that was 'extra') at a 1000% premium! Though I was pissed and saddened that the funeral home seemed to "benefit financially" from families while they mourned. At a time when families may be grappling with the fallout from the pandemic and are trying to scrape together as much money as possible to bury their loved one, it has been an immense comfort to be able to do so instead of having to go through this kind of " Forgoing luxury spending.” Although the loss of my little brother was a traumatic event, and for my niece the loss of her father as she is just beginning her journey into adulthood, it meant more to us than I can say. Now my beautiful niece can have a piece of her dad with her as she has many "firsts" she doesn't need him for - her first time, maybe her wedding anniversary. Things will be different without him, but she will know in her heart that a piece of him will be with her on all of her special days as she progresses.💔
