Cat Lucy is almost 2 years old and weighs between 12 and 15 pounds. She was always a bit weird when it came to trying out new furniture. She's had it for a few days and still won't jump on her own (she'll make it) but will be lazy for a while once she jumped in. She loves the sun so I attached her to the sunniest window. First, one of the cups flew out the window. Then I found a small piece of paper with instructions that I had somehow overlooked. After soaking in hot water, these things are now stuck to the window. Won't give in. Be sure to follow the instructions. The pillow inside is soft. The texture is rough, which I think helps keep the hair from falling out. Let's be honest, unless your cat is hairless, I highly doubt the texture will bother her. Lucy kneads cookies and lies down to relax. So far, so good.
