The glitter came off immediately. My daughter only wore them indoors and in just a few minutes the shine on her toes was gone. I think I should have predicted it. My daughter used to have shiny shoes, but there was some kind of transparent cover on top. It's not like this. My daughter still loves these shoes. She still wears them. I only got her to dress up anyway. Otherwise they seem to be well made and comfortable shoes. We love the Velcro. I would consider buying this brand again. only a few without shine!
