Kids love them
Bought for my 5 year old camper van. We do a lot of 6-10 mile hikes and he needed a pair of grippy boots. He likes the boots BUT they seem so thin and flat on the bottom that I wonder why his feet don't bother him. They are great on rocks and steep slopes. They keep his feet warm. I always carry an extra pair of shoes for him in case they get too thin. But he has gone with them several long journeys and does not complain.
