Toss with Gillette Fusion. better than Dorco and Harry's. I've also used Dorco/Pace (aka Dollar Shave Club) 4 and 6 blade cartridges and Harry'sand "Blade 5" cartridges (a fake sold at CVS). I would rank Gillette and Schick as the best. Takes 3, 4 or 5 days of growth from my beard to smooth it out in a few passes without scratching. For me the Schick wins on price and I think maybe it clogs less as the overall head is a bit bigger leaving more space between the 5 blades. .and maybe wipe less for smoothness. With the grain and then against the grain is enough if I'm in a hurry. But I still have to go through some areas a few more times to get a "perfectly" smooth surface. (This is true of every razor I've ever used.) The plastic vibrator handle for the Schick Hydro is larger than the Gillette Fusion Power. It may have been discontinued - I only found it here at Revain. works fine but I'll try the hydro's smoother non-drive crank. I wanted you to like Dorco/Pace but they are more prone to clogging even 4 blades. And it might take a few more steps to get closer. I also wanted Harry to like it - it was very similar to the Gillette Fusion in general EXCEPT for me I almost always got a few cuts (blood!) especially when starting a new cartridge. It doesn't hurt, it just bleeds! After a shave or two on a cartridge. OK. The fake "Blade 5" I bought from CVS is a complete failure and a waste of money - it's hard to get a close shave - and becomes dull and/or clogged after a shave or two.
