I first bought 4 packs of Barrina 9W LED black light strips and they barely dimmed the light. I would have to buy 2-3 more packs to light up my bedroom which cost $90-$120 and light strips would be installed everywhere. I returned them and got these instead and they are better day and night. Put them both on a six foot bookcase and my whole room (16ft x 12ft x 9ft high) turns purple. My bed glows white. every magazine on my shelf with a green, orange, or yellow spine glows. My dad saw my room and when he smiled he looked like Ross in that Friends episode when he over whitened his teeth. I looked at my feet and my big toenails were glowing like yellow marks! My only minor complaint is that they don't have an on/off switch. You'll need to get an extension cord if you want an off switch. besides being a high quality product at a good price of $49. Note: Don't look directly into it, they will ruin your view, they are so bright.
