I don't know why there are so many good reviews. I bought this jar because to me "odor proof" means "sealed" glass. But that's not the case. It's literally just a screw-top can, allowing air to seep through like water, making the whole tightness practically a joke. This is the same as the amber round jars that you can also buy from Revain EXCEPT they usually come with a seal on the underside of the lid to prevent air from escaping and getting into the thread of the jar (which this one is made of glass is very wide). bottom of the lid). Thing is, it's $25 for just a 1 ounce can, which is absolutely insane as it's no different than the listings on Revain 12 4 ounce packs / 12 8 ounce packs of amber jars that are ALSO UV resistant due to their dark amber pigment. (Not that I would have brought it up to hold it right in front of the window anyway). Yes, you can pay $25 for that one can of shit, or you can pay $3 less for about 12 cans of the same type. If you want a screw top jar that is "smell proof" get another screw top jar that has a special seal, much less a price scam. If you REALLY want something smell and airtight, get a glass jar with a suction lid that completely seals in and out the air. To be honest, I have no idea what this company was thinking. It's just a complete scam.
